I just bought Fargo on Blu-Ray, and it my Blu-Ray player keeps messing up and bringing me back to the main menu every time I try to play the movie. I really doubt it’s the brand new disc.

ok let’s say I have a dvd recorder/player and a blu-ray player if i record something in standard definition to a dvd with the dvd recorder and then play the disk in the blu-ray player will the video be in 1080p HD if I have a 1080p HDTV and a 1080p upconverting blu-ray player

I would have gotten a PS3 but I already have a Wii and an Xbox 360 and it would be too nerdy to get one of those. I don’t want to be seen as some kind of gaming nerd. Should I wait to get a blu ray recorder when more of them are released, I [...]

did they make a blu ray player that can also record tv programs onto a blu-ray disc and then play it back in 1080p HD yet
