Is a DVB-T tuner standard def or hi def?

I’m interested in this Blu Ray recorder when it comes out…

It says it has a DVB-T tuner and I thought this was a standard def tuner. But why would they put a standard def tuner in a high def recorder. What is the point of being able to record to Blu Ray if what you save on the hard drive isnt high def? It should have twin hd tuners so you can record one channel and watch another
